I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Art History from The University of Texas at Austin, where I developed a deep appreciation for the arts. My curiosity about contemporary art led me to internships at the Dallas Contemporary and the Dallas Art Fair, experiences that sparked my interest in graphic design. Combining my love for creating art with my dedication to precision, I realized graphic design could not only be my career but also my passion.
To gain the skills needed to pursue this path, I completed a certificate in Graphic Design at Southern Methodist University. During this time, I worked as the Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer for a local boutique and med spa, applying what I learned by creating marketing collateral and email campaigns for their two locations.
My career as a Graphic Designer continued at Global Views, a home décor wholesale company. As part of the design team, I developed weekly email campaigns, created magazine advertisements, designed product brochures, and collaborated on product catalogs and showroom materials for market events.
I later joined Colleen Rothschild Beauty, where I spent five years refining my expertise in the e-commerce and retail industries. During this time, I played a key role in creating impactful visuals that enhanced brand identity and customer engagement.
Currently, I am a Graphic Designer at Southern Methodist University, where I collaborate closely with the Admissions and Alumni Relations teams on a variety of projects. In my free time, I enjoy designing unique party invitations and creating logos for local businesses, combining creativity with thoughtful design to bring ideas to life.
